  1. I don’t know why they would want my files, I don’t have a business or money, I am disabled and this is my only connection to the outside world. God Bless them, I hope they have a change of heart and remove the Trojan from my computer, and replace with clean files. I don’t have money to remove it myself.

  2. Defender does not remove Hadsruda!bit malware file. Defender locks at 75% complete and locks screen.

  3. I agree. Defender just locks at 75% complete and locks the screen. Isn’t this something that Microsoft should be addressing?

  4. I have tried to remove Hadsruda bit by both ‘Quarantine” and ‘Remove’ options of Defender but it fails to remove it.

  5. I found the solution now. Just find Tencent directory from Program Files, click on 10.10…. directory and find Uninstall Program.
    Just uninstall it.

  6. I stopped the real-time protection of Defender. Removed the virus and it did not come back.
Defender kept “hanging” on this virus before I stopped the real-time protection!
I used Malwarebytes and Advanced Systemcare also to clean the lot.
    Success.
    Let me know.

  7. Defender is *not* hanging at 75%, my PC!

When you select ‘Full scan’, it first does the ‘Quick scan’ of system areas (you know, the Windows and Programs folders, recursively). Mine takes approximately 20 minutes, YMMV.

When that is done, it estimates that your scan is 75% complete…and then it goes on to scan *all* the rest of your storage devices, *literally* bit by bit. Depending on the size and complexity of your storage, this can take several hours of apparent inactivity.

My main desktop has four 1TB HDDs and a 1TB SSD. When doing a full scan, I wait until I’m working an evening shift and start the scan as I’m leaving the house. I come home from work 10 hours later — not touching the computer! — get a good night’s sleep, wake up the next morning, get a cup of coffee and *only then* check the scan’s progress.

    Sometimes it’s still running!

But it will eventually finish. How can you tell if it *has* actually hung up? Windows will tell you! You’ll get a message box saying, ‘This program has unexpectedly stopped working’ or something similar.

Gosh, I really hope this helps you all understand how PCs work. Good luck and happy computing!

  8. I have tried to remove Hadsruda!bit even to point pulling out the plug at main. I’ve had it running full scan 12hrs yet still on this report as I speak trying to find solution today 22 March 2016 on windows vista. Any update and suggestions?

    Regards,
    Martyn

  9. Windows Defender (on windows 10) does not remove this virus. Another solution is necessary. For me, neither does the Avira rescue system booth CD, the virus immediately reinstates its-self. Any further advice?
    Thanks,
    Matt

  10. Mine is completely messed, it has a blue screen and locks me from doing anything. I’ve ran CD cleaners and it didn’t work. Help.
