Cezor Ransomware is another creation of cyber crooks that have polluted the internet with variants of STOP/DJVU malware. Whatever the characteristics of previous versions were similarly applied on this newly released virus. Obviously, to give this edition a new identity, all files infected with the virus will get appended with .cezor file extension. The encryption mechanism of Cezor ransomware remains as it is and still uses complicated encryption technology to deny user’s access to important files from their spoiled computer.
Attackers only provided option for victims to recover .cezor encrypted files is to pay the ransom demand. As always, attackers urge that payment transaction must be made on their assigned processor that uses only Bitcoin currency. Via this method, the digital fraudulent deal goes smoothly without leaving a trace and it will be impossible for authorities to track the recipient of ransom money.
This activity of cyber crooks to rip off money from innocent victims through ransomware is in upward trend and it indicates that this counterfeit business has become their favorite stream for revenues. Thousands of spam email messages with attached malicious code lurks the internet daily and security experts associates these misleading correspondence to the deployment of Cezor ransomware and similar threats.
As what was observed, attackers can easily entice users to execute the attached file by covering it up as document containing important message from reputable company or organization. Right after user execute the file, Cezor immediately carry on with the encryption of files and generate a ransom note instructing users on the procedures to successfully recover .cezor data.

Stage 3 : Unlocking files with Cezor Decryption Tool
So far, this Cezor decryption tool works only for files that were encrypted using offline keys. This happens sometimes if the virus is unable to communicate to remote server to obtain unique keys; instead, it will use offline keys when encrypting files. However, there is a little chance of recovering files using this tool due to limited available offline keys that were integrated with this decryption tool.
For additional information (download link, supported versions, instructions) about StopDecrypter, please proceed to ransomware decryption tool archive page.
If you received a message stating that “No keys were found for the following IDs (.Cezor)”, please copy and submit the information to the official download page to include your information (log file) and have it archive in case decryption software becomes available.
We will update this section once the full decryption tool is on hand. In the meantime, please try other options below.
